Cassandra McAuley promoted to Senior Vice President, Destination Stewardship

July 15, 2022 — We are excited to announce the well-deserved promotion of Cassandra McAuley from VP Destination Planning to SVP Destination Stewardship. In just eight short months Cassandra has exhibited strong leadership and guidance, and is a well-respected member of our team, and the clients that we work with.

With nearly a decade of experience in the tourism industry, Cassandra is an enthusiastic advocate for visitor economies and the communities which they support. Cassandra previously served as Vice President, Communications & Stakeholder Engagement with Tourism Calgary, where she championed the development and implementation of Calgary’s Destination Strategy, one of the first destination plans to place both visitors and residents at the heart of the strategy.

She is the co-chair of Destinations International’s Advocacy committee, serves on the CDME Board, and is an active contributor to several community initiatives and organizations in her hometown of Calgary, Alberta.
