MMGY NextFactor is pleased to announce that Deb Archer and Linda John have joined the organization as Executive Consultants.

During Archer’s 26-year tenure as CEO of Destination Madison and the Madison Area Sports Commission, Madison, Wisconsin evolved into a prominent position as a destination for conventions, sports events and leisure travel. Under her leadership, Destination Madison became a leading community asset and recognized as a model Destination Management Organization. For 27 years, John served as the Executive Director for Visit Eau Claire in west-central Wisconsin. Some of her top accomplishments at Visit Eau Claire included the development of a successful regional tourism program, creation of a sports commission for the Eau Claire area, and launching two successful mobile visitor center programs, all resulting in record-setting tourism growth for the region during her tenure.

“Deb and Linda are two of the most respected and trusted leaders in our industry,” said Paul Ouimet, President & CEO of MMGY NextFactor “They bring decades of knowledge and experience to our team and will be instrumental in helping guide the future of DMOs across North America.”

Archer and John will play a critical role in MMGY NextFactor’s strategic planning efforts and will assist in the facilitation and development of tourism master plans and recovery plans.

“Paul and his team have been inspiring and pushing our industry forward in a manner I have always admired,” Archer said. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to be joining this team of thought leaders and I’m honored to be a part of the company’s future.”

“Having established myself as a leader in destination management, like so many others, 2020 became the year to start a new chapter,” said John. “I look forward to working with DMOs to foster and sustain positive community relationships and tackle the unique challenges that destinations are facing in this ever-changing world.”
